so 'smi jātaḥ kule śreṣṭhe brāhmaṇānāṃ supūjite | mandabhāgyatayāsmye taṃ kṣatradharmam anuṣṭhitaḥ ||
Wika ni Sañjaya: “Ipinanganak ako sa isang marangal na angkan, lubhang iginagalang sa mga Brahmin; subalit dahil sa masamang palad, napapasaakin ang tungkuling kṣatriya na ito.”
