कि कृतं सलिले शर्व चिरकालस्थितेन ते । किमर्थ चेदमुत्पाद्य लिड्ढ भूमौ प्रवेशितम्‌

Transliteration

ki kṛtaṃ salile śarva cirakālasthitena te | kimartha cedam utpādya liḍḍhaṃ bhūmau praveśitam ||

Translation

Wika ni Vaiśampāyana: “O Śarva (Rudra), anong gawain ang natupad mo sa pananatili sa tubig nang napakatagal? At sa anong layon, matapos iluwal ang liṅga na ito, ay itinapon mo ito at pinapasok sa lupa?”
