ते त्वास्थाय रथान् सर्वे बहुशस्त्रपरिच्छदान् । अभिष्नन्तो रथव्रातान् सेनायोगाय निर्ययु:,वे सब लोग अनेक शस्त्र आदि सामग्रियोंसे सम्पन्न रथोंपर बैठकर शत्रुपक्षके रथियोंका संहार करनेके उद्देश्यसे सेना एकत्र करनेके लिये गये हैं
te tv āsthāya rathān sarve bahuśastra-paricchadān | abhiṣṇanto rathavrātān senāyogāya niryayuḥ ||
Sinabi ni Duryodhana: “Pagkaraan, silang lahat ay sumakay sa kanilang mga karwaheng pandigma na sagana sa sandata at kagamitang pangdigma. Taglay ang layuning wasakin ang hanay ng mga mandirigmang nakakarwahe ng kalaban, sila’y umalis upang tipunin at ayusin ang hukbo.”
दुर्योधन उवाच
The verse highlights the momentum of conflict: once leaders choose hostility, resources and people are rapidly organized toward violence. Ethically, it underscores how intention (to destroy the enemy’s warriors) shapes collective action, foreshadowing the consequences of adharma-driven ambition.
Duryodhana reports that the warriors have mounted fully equipped chariots and gone out to gather and arrange the army, aiming to attack and destroy the opposing chariot-warriors.
