Vidura’s Report and Portents

Vidura urges moral and practical wakefulness: injustice (anaya) breeds peril, and when wrong is allowed to stand, even a single powerful agent (here Bhīma) can become the instrument through which consequences ripen—whether understood as fate (daiva) or as the inevitable result of adharma.
Vidura addresses Dhṛtarāṣṭra’s sons, warning them that a serious danger connected with Bhīmasena is now present. He frames the situation as a great injustice that has already surfaced among the Bharata lineage, hinting at escalating tensions that can lead to wider calamity.
