अध्याय ६४ — सभामध्ये क्रोध-निवारणम्
Restraint of wrath in the royal assembly
वैचित्रवीर्यस्थ यशो धनं च वाञ्छाम्यहं सहपुत्रस्य शश्वत् यथा तथा ते>स्तु नमश्न ते<स्तु ममापि च स्वस्ति दिशन्तु विप्रा:
vaicitravīryasya yaśo dhanaṃ ca vāñchāmy ahaṃ saha-putrasya śaśvat | yathā tathā te ’stu namaś ca te ’stu mamāpi ca svasti diśantu viprāḥ ||
Wika ni Vidura: “Lagi’t lagi kong ninanais na si Dhṛtarāṣṭra, anak ni Vicitravīrya, kasama ang kanyang mga anak, ay magtamo ng pangmatagalang dangal at yaman. Ngunit, Duryodhana, mamuhay ka ayon sa iyong nais; ako’y yumuyuko sa iyo. Nawa’y bigkasin din ng mga brāhmaṇa ang mga pagpapalang kagalingan para sa akin.”
