Rājasūyābhiṣeka-darśana: Duryodhana’s Observation of the Consecration
तत्र गत्वार्जुनो दण्डमाजहारामितं धनम् | तात! वह सब देखकर मुझे ज्वर-सा आ गया। भरतश्रेष्ठ! वैसे ही सुवर्णकलशोंको लेकर पाण्डवलोग जल लानेके लिये पूर्व
tatra gatvārjuno daṇḍam ājahārāmitaṃ dhanam |
Sinabi ni Duryodhana: “Pagdating doon, siningil ni Arjuna ang tributo at nagbalik na may yaman na di masukat. Nang makita ko ang lahat ng iyon, sinakmal ako ng pighating tila lagnat. O pinakamainam sa mga Bharata, ang mga Pāṇḍava ay nakagawiang magdala ng mga pitsel na ginto upang kumuha ng tubig hanggang sa mga dagat sa silangan, timog, at kanluran; at sinasabi ring si Arjuna ay nakarating pa malapit sa dagat sa hilaga—kung saan walang taong makapupunta, maliban sa mga ibon—at nagbalik matapos maningil ng walang-hanggang kayamanan. At sa Rājasūya na handog ni Yudhiṣṭhira ay may isa pang kababalaghan; isasalaysay ko—makinig kayo.”
