भवनै: सविमानाग्रै: सोदर्कर्बलसंवृतैः
bhavanaiḥ savimānāgraiḥ sodarkarbalasaṃvṛtaiḥ
Sinabi ni Vaiśampāyana: “(Ang lungsod/loob ng maharlikang pook) ay napuno ng mga mansiyon na may matatayog na silid sa itaas, at napaliligiran at napangangalagaan ng matitibay na gawang-pananggol—mga pader at kuta—na nagpapahiwatig ng kasaganaan at mapagmatyag na pamamahala.”
वैशम्पायन उवाच
The verse implicitly links prosperity with responsibility: grand residences and visible splendor are paired with strong protection and orderly defense, reflecting the ethical expectation that rulers safeguard wealth, people, and public order rather than merely display opulence.
