Adhyāya 31: Rājasūya-samāgama — The Gathering of Kings and the Ordering of Hospitality
The verse elevates satya (truthfulness) as a purifying force: moral integrity is presented as spiritually cleansing, even within the ritual sphere of yajña.
Sahadeva addresses a revered figure associated with sacrificial offerings, noting that sages, Brahmins, gods, and even asuras offer into him in yajñas, and he requests purification through that figure’s truth-power.
