चित्र मणिमयं भाण्डं रम्यं बिन्दुसर: प्रति । सभायां सत्यसंधस्य यदासीद्‌ वृषपर्वण:,'पूर्वकालमें जब दैत्यलोग कैलास पर्वतसे उत्तर दिशामें स्थित मैनाक पर्वतपर यज्ञ करना चाहते थे, उस समय मैंने एक विचित्र एवं रमणीय मणिमय भाण्ड तैयार किया था, जो बिन्दुसरके समीप सत्यप्रतिज्ञ राजा वृषपर्वाकी सभामें रखा गया था इति श्रीमहा भारते सभापर्वणि सभाक्रियापर्वणि सभानिर्माणे तृतीयो5ध्याय:

vaiśampāyana uvāca | citra-maṇimayaṃ bhāṇḍaṃ ramyaṃ bindusaraḥ prati | sabhāyāṃ satyasaṃdhasya yad āsīd vṛṣaparvaṇaḥ ||

Wika ni Vaiśampāyana: “May isang kamangha-mangha at kaaya-ayang sisidlang yari sa sari-saring hiyas, na inilagay malapit sa Bindusaras, sa bulwagan ng kapulungan ni Haring Vṛṣaparvan—isang pinunong bantog sa pagtupad sa kanyang ipinangako at sa katotohanan.”
