अर्जुनस्य दिग्विजयारम्भः — Arjuna Initiates the Northern Campaign and Secures Bhagadattta’s Tribute
प्रकर्षणाकर्षणा भ्यामनुकर्षविकर्षणै: । आचर्कर्षतुरन्योन्यं जानुभिश्वावजघ्नतु:,वे एक-दूसरेको पीछे ढकेलते और आगे खींचते थे। बार-बार खींचतान और छीना- झपटी करते थे। दोनोंने अपने प्रहारोंसे एक-दूसरेके शरीरमें खरौंच एवं घाव पैदा कर दिये और दोनों दोनोंको पटककर घुटनोंसे मारने तथा रगड़ने लगे
prakarṣaṇākarṣaṇābhyām anukarṣavikarṣaṇaiḥ | ācarakarṣatur anyonyaṃ jānubhiś cāvajaghnatuḥ ||
Sa marahas na tulak at hila—pagkaladkad at pagpilipit sa isa’t isa nang paulit-ulit—nagbuno sila nang dikit-dikitang kapit. Bawat isa’y nagdulot sa kabila ng mga gasgas at sugat sa sunod-sunod na hampas; at matapos magpabagsakan, tinamaan at dinikdik nila ang isa’t isa sa pamamagitan ng tuhod, na waring pinapagalaw ng init ng tunggalian kaysa ng pagpipigil.
