बालस्ताम्रतल मुष्टिं कृत्वा चास्ये निधाय स: । प्राक्रोशदतिसंरब्ध: सतोय इव तोयद:,उस बालकने अपने लाल हथेलीवाले हाथोंकी मुट्ठी बाँधकर मुँहमें डाल ली और अत्यन्त क़ुद्ध होकर जलसे भरे मेघकी भाँति गम्भीर स्वरसे रोना शुरू कर दिया
Transliteration
bālas tāmra-tala-muṣṭiṁ kṛtvā cāsye nidhāya saḥ | prākrośad ati-saṁrabdhaḥ satoya iva toyadaḥ ||
Translation
Ang bata, kinuyom ang kanyang mapulang palad at isinuksok iyon sa bibig; saka siya sumigaw at umiyak sa matinding poot, na may tinig na malalim na gaya ng ulap na hitik sa ulan na umuugong.
