त॑ विश्रान्तं शुभे देशे क्षणिनं कल्पमच्युतम् । धर्मराज: समागम्याज्ञापयत् स्वप्रयोजनम्,इसके बाद उन्होंने एक उत्तम भवनमें विश्राम किया। थोड़ी देर बाद जब वे मिलनेके योग्य हुए और इसके लिये उन्होंने अवसर निकाल लिया, तब धर्मराज युधिष्ठिरे आकर उनसे अपना सारा प्रयोजन बतलाया
taṁ viśrāntaṁ śubhe deśe kṣaṇinaṁ kalpam acyutam | dharmarājaḥ samāgamyājñāpayat svaprayojanam ||
Sinabi ni Vaiśaṃpāyana: Nang makapagpahinga si Acyuta sa isang mapalad na pook sa loob ng maikling sandali, lumapit si Dharmarāja (Yudhiṣṭhira) at ipinaabot ang kanyang layunin—iniharap ang bagay na dapat maisakatuparan.
