Jarāsandha as Obstacle to the Rājasūya — Kṛṣṇa’s Strategic Genealogical Brief
Sabhā Parva, Adhyāya 13
The verse highlights the ethical value of steady resolve in rightful action: when a king’s duty and legitimate aim are affirmed by trusted well-wishers, he should not be paralyzed by overthinking but commit his mind to the undertaking.
Vaiśampāyana reports that the king’s friends and advisers, speaking both individually and in unison, encourage him to focus on performing the Rājasūya royal consecration and to proceed without hesitation.
