मयस्य प्रतिकृतिः — Maya’s Offer and the Commissioning of the Sabhā
यदि त्वं कर्तुकामोसि प्रियं शिल्पवतां वर । धर्मराजस्य दैतेय यादृशीमिह मनन््यसे
yadi tvaṁ kartukāmo ’si priyaṁ śilpavatāṁ vara | dharmarājasya daiteya yādṛśīm iha manyase tad ||
“O Maya, pinakamainam sa mga bihasang manggagawa, Daitya, kung nais mong gumawa ng bagay na mahal sa akin, dito ay itayo mo para kay Dharmarāja Yudhiṣṭhira ang isang bulwagang pangkapulungan na ayon sa tingin mo’y nararapat.”
अजुन उवाच
A worthy ‘dear act’ is framed as constructive service that supports dharmic rule: using skill and resources to strengthen righteous governance, while respecting expert judgment in execution.
Maya, famed for extraordinary craftsmanship, is addressed and asked to build an assembly hall for Dharmarāja Yudhiṣṭhira—an event that leads to the celebrated (and later consequential) royal sabhā.
