ततस्ते पापकर्माणो लोभोपहतचेतस: । आभीरा मन्त्रयामासु: समेत्याशुभदर्शना:,लोभसे उनके चित्तकी विवेकशक्ति नष्ट हो गयी। उन अशुभदर्शी पापाचारी आभीरोंने परस्पर मिलकर सलाह की

tatas te pāpakarmāṇo lobhopahatacetasaḥ | ābhīrā mantrayāmāsuḥ sametyāśubhadarśanāḥ ||

Pagkaraan, yaong mga taong gumagawa ng kasalanan—na ang isip ay dinaig ng kasakiman at napinsala ang kakayahang magpasya—ang mga Ābhīra, na may masamang pangitain, ay nagtipon at nagsimulang magsangguniang magkakasama.
