ततोडर्जुनस्तानामन्त्रय केशवस्य प्रिय: सखा । प्रययौ मातुल द्रष्ट नेदमस्तीति चाब्रवीत्,तत्पश्चात् श्रीकृष्णके प्रिय सखा अर्जुन अपने भाइयोंसे पूछकर मामासे मिलनेके लिये चल दिये और बोले--'ऐसा नहीं हुआ होगा (समस्त यदुवंशियोंका एक साथ विनाश असम्भव है)”
tato ’rjunas tān āmantrya keśavasya priyaḥ sakhā | prayayau mātulaṃ draṣṭuṃ nedam astīti cābravīt ||
Pagkaraan, si Arjuna—ang minamahal na kaibigan ni Keśava—ay nagpaalam sa kanila at umalis upang makita ang kanyang tiyuhin sa ina. Sa pag-alis niya’y sinabi niya, “Hindi ito maaari,” sapagkat sa una’y hindi niya matanggap na ang buong lahi ng Yadu ay maaaring mapuksa nang sabay-sabay.
