Ang ibinigay na linya ay hindi isang mababasang śloka ng Mahābhārata; tila ito’y mga tala sa kolofon/pagbibilang ng metro at pahina ng edisyong Gītā Press (hal., pabatid ng pagwawakas at mga puna sa chandas), hindi ang tunay na Sanskrit ng Mahāprasthānika-parvan 4.114. Kung wala ang mismong teksto ng taludtod, hindi makagagawa ng tapat na salin para sa 4.114.
