न संधातुमनीकानि न चैवाशु पराक्रमे । आसीद् बुद्धि्ते कर्णे तव योधस्य कहिचित्
na sandhātum anīkāni na caivāśu parākrame | āsīd buddhis te karṇe tava yodhasya kvacit ||
Wika ni Sanjaya: “Kailanma’y hindi nagkaroon, O Karna, ang iyong mandirigma ng sapat na pag-iisip upang muling ayusin ang mga hanay ng hukbo, ni upang kumilos nang mabilis at may pasyang tapang.”
