हत्वा तान्‌ पुरुषव्याप्र: पज्चालानां महारथ:

Transliteration

hatvā tān puruṣavyāpraḥ pāñcālānāṃ mahārathaḥ

Translation

Sinabi ni Sañjaya: “Matapos mapatay ang mga iyon, ang dakilang mandirigmang nakasakay sa karwahe ng mga Pāñcāla—masigla at lubos na nakatuon sa lakas ng isang mandirigma—ay nagpatuloy sa labanan. Ipinapahiwatig ng taludtod ang walang-humpay na agos ng digmaan, kung saan ang galing at tungkulin sa pakikipaglaban ay isinasalaysay kasabay ng mabigat na pasaning moral ng pagkitil ng buhay.”
