हत्वा तत्पुरुषानीक॑ भीम: सत्यपराक्रम: । धृष्टय्युम्नं पुरस्कृत्य तस्थौ तत्र महाबल:,सत्यपराक्रमी महाबली भीमसेन उस पैदल सेनाका संहार करके धृष्टद्युम्नको आगे किये वहीं खड़े रहे
hatvā tatpuruṣānīkaṃ bhīmaḥ satyaparākramaḥ | dhṛṣṭadyumnaṃ puraskṛtya tasthau tatra mahābalaḥ ||
Wika ni Sañjaya: Matapos patayin ang pangkat ng mga kawal-lakad na iyon, si Bhīma—na di kailanman nabibigo ang tapang—ay nanatiling nakatindig doon, inilagay si Dhṛṣṭadyumna sa unahan.
