Shloka 44

तान्‌ वयं प्रतिनृत्याम: पुनर्गौरिति गौरिति । “जो लोग उस दिन कौरवसभामें हमें 'बैल बैल' कहकर खुशीके मारे नाच उठते थे, उन सबको आज बारंबार “बैल-बैल' कहते हुए हम भी प्रसन्नतापूर्वक नृत्य कर रहे हैं ।। ४३ ई || प्रमाणकोट्यां शयनं कालकूटस्य भोजनम्‌

tān vayaṁ pratinṛtyāmaḥ punar gaur iti gaur iti |

Wika ni Sanjaya: “Ngayon, kami man ay sumasayaw bilang ganti, paulit-ulit na sumisigaw ng ‘Baka! Baka!’—upang tuyain ang mismong mga taong noong araw na iyon sa bulwagan ng mga Kaurava ay nagbunyi at nagsayaw habang nilalait kami sa kaparehong insulto.”
