स समासाद्य संग्रामे भीम॑ भीमपराक्रमम् । वारयामास तं वीरो वेलेव मकरालयम्
sa samāsādya saṅgrāme bhīmaṁ bhīmaparākramam | vārayāmāsa taṁ vīro veleva makarālayam, mahārāja |
Wika ni Sañjaya: “O Hari, sumugod sa gitna ng labanan ang bayaning iyon, nilapitan si Bhīma—na ang lakas ay nakapanghihilakbot—at hinarang siya, gaya ng dalampasigan na pumipigil sa karagatan, tahanan ng mga nilalang-dagat.”
