यज्वभिर्विधिनाहूतौ मखे देवाविवाश्विनौ । जैसे यज्ञमें ऋत्विजोंद्वारा विधिपूर्वक आवाहन किये जानेपर दोनों अश्विनीकुमार नामक देवता पदार्पण करते हैं

Wika ni Sanjaya: Kung paanong dumarating ang kambal na mga diyos na Aśvin sa isang yajña kapag sila’y tinatawag ng mga pari ayon sa wastong tuntunin, gayon din sina Śrī Kṛṣṇa at Arjuna—mga dalubhasa sa digmaan—na wari’y dumating sa “yajña ng labanan” na iyon na para bang sila’y marapat na inanyayahan.
संजय उवाच
The verse casts warfare under the metaphor of a sacrifice: actions should be governed by vidhi (right order) and dharma (duty), and the presence of Kṛṣṇa and Arjuna is portrayed as divinely sanctioned—like deities arriving when properly invoked—implying disciplined, purposeful action rather than uncontrolled violence.
Sañjaya describes Kṛṣṇa and Arjuna entering the battlefield and likens their arrival to the Aśvin twins appearing at a yajña when summoned by ritual specialists, elevating their participation and framing the battle as a solemn, quasi-ritual event.
