पज्चालानथ निष्नन्तं कर्ण दृष्टवा महारणे | अभ्यधावत् सुसंक्रुद्धों धर्मराजो युधिष्ठिर:,उस महासमरमें कर्णको पांचालोंका संहार करते देख धर्मराज युधिष्ठिरने अत्यन्त कुपित होकर उसपर धावा बोल दिया
pañcālān atha niṣṇantaṃ karṇaṃ dṛṣṭvā mahāraṇe | abhyadhāvat susaṃkruddho dharmarājo yudhiṣṭhiraḥ ||
Wika ni Sañjaya: Nang makita ni Dharmarāja Yudhiṣṭhira si Karṇa na pumapatay sa mga Pāñcāla sa dakilang labanan, siya—nilamon ng matinding poot—ay sumugod nang tuwiran sa kanya.
संजय उवाच
Even a ruler devoted to dharma can be pushed into anger when confronted with unchecked slaughter; the verse highlights the ethical strain of war, where protecting one’s side and answering aggression may compel actions that test inner restraint.
In the thick of the great battle, Karṇa is seen cutting down the Pāñcāla warriors. Witnessing this, Yudhiṣṭhira—normally composed—becomes intensely angry and charges directly at Karṇa.
