तावन्ये धनुषी श्रेष्ठे शक्रचापनिभे शुभे । प्रगृह्म रेजतुः शूरौ देवपुत्रसमौ युधि,फिर वे दोनों वीर इन्द्रधनुषके समान सुन्दर दूसरे श्रेष्ठ धनुष लेकर युद्धस्थलमें देवकुमारोंके समान सुशोभित होने लगे
tāv anye dhanuṣī śreṣṭhe śakracāpanibhe śubhe | pragṛhya rejatuḥ śūrāv devaputrasamau yudhi ||
Sinabi ni Sañjaya: Noon, kinuha ng dalawang bayani ang iba pang napakahuhusay na busog—mapalad at marikit, gaya ng busog ni Indra—at sa larangan ng digmaan ay nagningning silang parang mga anak ng mga diyos, muling sumabak nang di nababawasan ang tapang.
संजय उवाच
The verse highlights steadfastness and renewed effort in the midst of conflict: even after a change of weapons or circumstances, true warriors re-enter the struggle with composure and radiance, suggesting the ethical ideal of resilience and unwavering commitment to one’s chosen duty in a crisis.
Sañjaya describes two heroes who, taking up different (new) excellent bows, appear splendid on the battlefield—likened to divine princes—and continue the combat with renewed vigor.
