Prelude to Karṇa’s Slaying
गदानां परिघाणां च कणपानां च क्षिप्यताम् । प्रासानां भिन्दिपालानां भुशुण्डीनां च सर्वश:
gadānāṁ parighāṇāṁ ca kaṇapānāṁ ca kṣipyatām | prāsānāṁ bhindipālānāṁ bhuśuṇḍīnāṁ ca sarvaśaḥ ||
Wika ni Sañjaya: “Sa lahat ng dako, nasaksihan namin ang walang tigil na unos ng mga sandatang inihahagis—mga pamalong bakal at mga gadaa, mabibigat na panghagis, mga sibat, mga bhindipāla at mga bhuśuṇḍī—na bumabagsak na tila isang di-napupunit na agos. Sa lubhang malupit na labanan, wari’y kumakapal ang hangin sa paglagpak ng pagwasak.”
