कर्णनिधनश्रवणम् — Hearing of Karṇa’s Fall and Dhṛtarāṣṭra’s Lament
ओधघवांश्व महाराज बृहन्त: सहितौ रणे । पराक्रमन्तौ मित्रार्थे गतो वैवस्वतक्षयम्,महाराज! मित्रके लिये रणभूमिमें पराक्रम प्रकट करनेवाले ओघवान् और बृहन्त--ये दोनों एक साथ यमलोकको प्रस्थान कर चुके हैं
sañjaya uvāca | oghavānśva mahārāja bṛhantaḥ sahitau raṇe | parākramantau mitrārthe gato vaivasvatakṣayam ||
Wika ni Sañjaya: “O hari, sina Oghavānśva at Bṛhanta—magkasama sa larangan—ay nagpakita ng kagitingan alang-alang sa kaibigan. Sa gayong tapat na tapang, sila’y nagtungo na sa kaharian ni Vaivasvata (Yama).”
