Dharma-rahasya Instruction: Vows, Truth, and Non-injury
yad uktaṃ vacanaṃ me ’dya tvayā madrarājaneśvara | bhīmasenaṃ prati vibho tat satyaṃ nātra saṃśayaḥ ||

The verse underscores satya (truthfulness) and epistemic clarity: a responsible witness affirms what is true without ambiguity, especially in a morally charged context like war where speech can mislead or inflame.
Sañjaya addresses the Madra king (Śalya), confirming that Śalya’s statement about Bhīmasena is accurate. It functions as an authoritative validation within the unfolding war narrative of the Karṇa Parva.
