Transliteration

tathā vartati saṅgrāme gajavājinarakṣaye

Translation

Sinabi ni Sañjaya: “Sa gayong anyo rin nagpatuloy ang digmaan—isang paglusob na naghatid ng pagkapuksa sa mga elepante, kabayo, at tao. Mula sa mga katawan ng tao, kabayo, at elepante ay umagos ang isang ilog ng dugo, at sa agos nito’y inanod ang di-mabilang na bangkay ng mga elepante, kabayo, at mandirigmang bumagsak.”
