कर्णस्य दानप्रतिज्ञा–शल्योपदेश–वाक्ययुद्धम्

तं तु कृच्छूगतं दृष्टवा कर्णद्रीणिकृपादय:
taṁ tu kṛcchūgataṁ dṛṣṭvā karṇadrīṇikṛpādayaḥ
Sinabi ni Sañjaya: Nang makita siyang nalugmok sa matinding kagipitan, sina Karṇa, Dṛṇika, Kṛpa at ang iba pa ay ibinaling ang kanilang pansin sa kanya, udyok ng kagyat na pangangailangan ng sandali sa larangan ng digmaan.
