कर्णस्य दानप्रतिज्ञा–शल्योपदेश–वाक्ययुद्धम्

हयैश्न पतितैस्तत्र नरैश्न विनिपातितै: । अगम्यरूपा पृथिवी क्षणेन समपद्यत
hayaiś ca patitais tatra naraiś ca vinipātitaiḥ | agamyārūpā pṛthivī kṣaṇena samapadyata rājendra ||
Wika ni Sañjaya: “O Hari, sa pook na iyon, dahil sa mga kabayong bumagsak at sa mga taong napatumba at naihagis sa lupa, ang lupain ay naging kasindak-sindak at barado sa isang iglap, kaya’t halos hindi na matawid.”
