Tripura-destruction exemplum and counsel to Śalya

The verse highlights the ideal of unwavering martial resolve in a dharmic struggle: when duty in battle is embraced with clarity, action becomes forceful and decisive—symbolized by the comparison to Indra’s thunderbolt.
Sañjaya reports to Dhṛtarāṣṭra that Yuyutsu attacks and powerfully strikes Ulūka with a sharp, feathered arrow, likening the blow to Indra striking a mountain with the vajra.
