एवमेतन्महाव्यूहं व्यूह्ू भारत पाण्डवा: । तावकाश्न महेष्वासा युद्धायैव मनो वधु:,भरतनन्दन! इस प्रकार इस महाव्यूहकी रचना करके पाण्डवों तथा आपके महाधनुर्धरोंने युद्धमें ही मन लगाया
evam etan mahāvyūhaṃ vyūhya bhārata pāṇḍavāḥ | tāvakāś ca maheṣvāsā yuddhāyaiva mano daduḥ bharatanandana ||
Wika ni Sañjaya: “Kaya nito, O inapo ni Bharata, matapos ihanay ang napakalaki at nakapanghihilakbot na pormasyon ng digmaan, ang mga Pāṇḍava at ang mahuhusay na mamamana sa inyong panig ay itinuon ang isip sa labanan lamang.”
संजय उवाच
The verse highlights single-pointed resolve in a kṣatriya context: once the armies are arrayed, both sides commit their minds entirely to the duty and consequences of battle, underscoring the ethical weight of intention (mano-niyoga) in action.
Sañjaya reports to Dhṛtarāṣṭra that a great battle-formation has been arranged, and that the Pāṇḍavas and the Kaurava champions (great archers) are now fully focused on fighting as the confrontation proceeds.
