दक्षिणे तु महाराज सुषेण: सत्यसंगर: । वृतो रथसहस्रेण दन्तिनां च त्रिभि: शतै:,महाराज! दाहिने पैरके पिछले भागमें एक सहख्र रथियों और तीन सौ हाथियोंसे घिरे हुए सत्यप्रतिज्ञ सुषेण खड़े किये गये
dakṣiṇe tu mahārāja suṣeṇaḥ satyasaṅgaraḥ | vṛto rathasahasreṇa dantināṃ ca tribhiḥ śataiḥ ||
Wika ni Sañjaya: “Sa kanang tagiliran, O dakilang hari, inilagay si Suṣeṇa—matatag at tapat sa kanyang panatang pandigma—na napalilibutan ng isang libong mandirigmang karwahe at tatlong daang elepanteng pandigma.”
