स सम्प्रहारस्तुमुलस्तयो: पुरुषसिंहयो: । सैनिकानां च सर्वेषां तयोश्ष प्रीतिवर्धन:,उन दोनों पुरुषसिंहोंमें बड़ा भयंकर युद्ध छिड़ गया। वह संग्राम समस्त सैनिकोंकी तथा उन दोनोंकी भी प्रसन्नताको बढ़ा रहा था
sa samprahāras tumulas tayoḥ puruṣasiṁhayoḥ | sainikānāṁ ca sarveṣāṁ tayoś ca prītivardhanaḥ ||
Sinabi ni Sañjaya: Sumambulat ang isang mabangis at umuugong na sagupaan sa pagitan ng dalawang bayaning tila mga leon. Ang labang iyon ay nagpaalab sa sigasig at pananabik ng lahat ng kawal—pati na rin ng dalawang kampeon—na nagpapakita kung paanong sa init ng digmaan, ang giting at ang lasa ng tagumpay ay lumalaki kahit kumakalat ang pagwasak.
संजय उवाच
