भीष्मस्य मध्याह्नयुद्धवर्णनम् / Mid-day Battle Description: Bhīṣma Engaged by the Pāñcālas
सुसंनाहाश्च पतिता मुसलानि गुरूणि च | परिघान पट्टिशांश्वैव भिन्दिपालांश्व मारिष,आर्य! वहाँ सुन्दर कवच पड़े थे। भारी मूसल, परिघ, पट्टिश और भिन्दिपाल भी इधर- उधर बिखरे दिखायी देते थे
susaṃnāhāś ca patitā musalāni gurūṇi ca | parighān paṭṭiśāṃś caiva bhindipālāṃś ca māriṣa ||
Wika ni Sañjaya: “O iginagalang, nagkalat ang maiinam na baluting pandigma. Nahandusay din ang mabibigat na pamalo; at ang mga bakal na pamalo (parigha), mga palakol-pandigma, at mga sibat na bhindipāla ay nakitang nakabudbod sa iba’t ibang dako.”
