भीष्मपर्व — अध्याय ९६: सौभद्रस्य आक्रमणम्, अलम्बुसस्य प्रतिविधानम्
Abhimanyu’s assault; Alambusa’s counter-engagement
नाराचनिहतास्त्वन्ये तथा विद्धाश्ष तोमरै: । विनदन्तो< भ्यधावन्त विशूंगा इव पर्वता:
nārācani-hatās tv anye tathā viddhāś ca tomaraiḥ | vinadanto 'bhyadhāvanta viśūṅgā iva parvatāḥ ||
Wika ni Sañjaya: Ang ilan ay pinabagsak ng mga palasong bakal (nārāca), at ang iba nama’y tinuhog ng mga sibat (tomara). Umuungal silang sumugod pasulong—gaya ng mga bundok na naputulan ng tuktok—at kahit wasak na ang katawan sa sandata, patuloy pa ring sumusulong sa bangis ng labanan.
