इस प्रकार श्रीमह्या भारत भीष्मपर्वके अन्तर्गत भीष्मवधपर्वमें संकुलयुद्धविषयक अठहत्तरवाँ अध्याय पूरा हुआ
iti prakāraḥ śrīmahābhārate bhīṣmaparvaṇi antargate bhīṣmavadhaparvaṇi saṅkulayuddhaviṣayakaḥ aṣṭāsaptatitamo 'dhyāyaḥ samāptaḥ
Sa ganitong paraan nagwakas ang ikapitumpu’t walong kabanata tungkol sa magulo at siksik na nagkakahalong labanan, sa loob ng Bhīṣma Parva ng banal na Mahābhārata, sa bahaging tumatalakay sa pagpaslang kay Bhīṣma. Ang pangwakas na kolofon na ito’y hudyat ng paglipat ng salaysay, tanda ng pagtatapos ng isang yunit ng paglalarawan ng digmaan at ng bigat nitong moral—kung saan nagtatagpo ang tungkulin, estratehiya, at ang malagim na halaga ng tunggalian.
