भीष्मस्य भीमसेन-निरोधः
Bhīṣma checks Bhīmasena; matched engagements intensify
ध्यानेनावेद्य तद् ब्रह्मा कृत्वा च नियतो55जलिम् । नमश्नकार हद्ृष्टात्मा पुरुषं परमेश्वरम्,अपने मनको संयममें रखनेवाले ब्रह्माजीने ध्यानसे यथार्थ बात जानकर हाथ जोड़ लिये और प्रसन्नचित्त होकर उन परम पुरुष परमेश्वरको नमस्कार किया
dhyānenāvedya tad brahmā kṛtvā ca niyato 'ñjalim | namaś cakāra hṛṣṭātmā puruṣaṁ parameśvaram ||
Nang matanto ang katotohanang iyon sa pamamagitan ng pagninilay, si Brahmā—na may pagpipigil-sa-sarili—ay nagdaup-palad sa paggalang; at sa pusong punô ng galak, siya’y yumukod at nagbigay-pugay sa Kataas-taasang Persona, ang Panginoon ng lahat.
