तया ह्युत्पादित: पुण्य: स हद: सागरोपम: । तां धारयामास तदा दुर्धरां पर्वतैरपि
tayā hy utpāditaḥ puṇyaḥ sa hradaḥ sāgaropamaḥ | tāṃ dhārayāmāsa tadā durdharāṃ parvatair api ||
Sinabi ni Sañjaya: Sa pamamagitan niya ay nalikha ang isang banal na lawa—malawak na gaya ng karagatan. At noon, kanyang pinasan at pinigil ang lakas na iyon, bagaman napakahirap nitong tiisin na maging ang mga bundok ay halos di makapaglalaman nito.
