Garuḍa Array and the Ardhacandra Counter-Formation
तावकानां परेषां च नर्दतां च मुहुर्मुहु: । पार्था विमनसो भूत्वा न्यवर्तन्त महारथा: । चिन्तयन्तो वध घोर द्वैरथेन परंतपा:
tāvakānāṁ pareṣāṁ ca nardatāṁ ca muhur muhuḥ | pārthā vimanaso bhūtvā nyavartanta mahārathāḥ | cintayanto vadhaṁ ghoraṁ dvairathena parantapāḥ ||
Wika ni Sañjaya: Habang ang mga mandirigma sa panig mo at sa panig ng kalaban ay paulit-ulit na umuungal at sumisigaw, ang mga Pārtha—mga dakilang mandirigmang nakasakay sa karwahe, mga tagasunog ng kaaway—ay nanlumo. Sa pagninilay sa kakila-kilabot na pagpatay na idinulot ng sagupaan ng karwahe laban sa karwahe, sila’y umurong at nagbalik sa kanilang kampo, nababagabag ang isip sa mabagsik na halaga ng labanan.
