अवारयदमेयात्मा वारिवेगानिवाचल: । इन सबको आते देख अमेय शक्तिसम्पन्न भीष्मजीने द्रोणाचार्य, शल्य तथा कृपाचार्यके साथ जाकर उनकी गति रोक दी, मानो किसी पर्वतने जलके प्रवाहको अवरुद्ध कर दिया हो
avārayad ameyātmā vārivegān ivācalaḥ |
Sinabi ni Sañjaya: Si Bhīṣma, na di masukat ang diwa, ay lumabas kasama nina Droṇa, Śalya, at Kṛpa at pinigil ang kanilang pagsulong. Hininto niya ang rumaragasang lakas na parang bundok na humahadlang sa agos ng tubig.
