ततः सैन्धवको राजा द्रुपदं॑ विशिखैस्त्रिभि: । ताडयामास समरे स च त॑ प्रत्यविध्यत,तत्पश्चात् सिन्धुराज जयद्रथने समरांगणमें तीन बाणोंद्वारा द्रपदको गहरी चोट पहुँचायी। ट्रुपदने भी बदलेमें उसे बींध डाला
tataḥ saindhavako rājā drupadaṁ viśikhaiḥ tribhiḥ | tāḍayāmāsa samare sa ca taṁ pratyavidhyata ||
Wika ni Sañjaya: Pagkatapos, ang hari ng Sindhu na si Jayadratha ay tumama kay Drupada sa labanan sa pamamagitan ng tatlong matutulis na palaso. Si Drupada nama’y gumanti agad at tinuhog din siya pabalik.
संजय उवाच
