Chapter 43: Tumult of Battle-Sounds and the Proliferation of Dvandva

सर्वस्य चाहं हृदि संनिविष्टो मत्त: स्मृतिर्ज्ञनमपोहनं च । वेदैश्व सर्वैरहमेव वेद्यो वेदान्तकृद् वेदविदेव चाहम्
sarvasya cāhaṁ hṛdi saṁniviṣṭo mattaḥ smṛtir jñānam apohanaṁ ca | vedaiś ca sarvair aham eva vedyo vedāntakṛd vedavid eva cāham ||
Wika ng Mapalad na Panginoon: “Ako’y nananahan sa puso ng bawat nilalang bilang Panloob na Tagapag-udyok. Mula sa Akin nagmumula ang alaala, ang tunay na pagkaunawa, at maging ang pag-alis ng kaalaman—ang pagkalimot. Sa pamamagitan ng lahat ng Veda, Ako lamang ang dapat makilala; Ako ang may-akda ng Vedānta at Ako rin ang nakaaalam ng mga Veda.”
अजुन उवाच
The Supreme Lord is the indwelling presence in all hearts and the ultimate source of cognition—memory, knowledge, and even the loss of knowledge. Therefore, the Vedas ultimately aim at knowing Him; He both establishes the purport of the Vedas (Vedānta) and fully knows them.
In the battlefield dialogue, Kṛṣṇa is concluding the teaching of Puruṣottama-yoga by identifying Himself as the inner ruler (antaryāmin) who governs understanding and as the final referent of scriptural revelation, thereby stabilizing Arjuna’s ethical struggle with a theocentric foundation for duty and discernment.
