Even in fear and confusion, the proper response to overwhelming power is humility, reverence, and sincere inquiry. Arjuna models devotion joined with discernment: he bows, asks for grace, and seeks to understand the divine intention rather than reacting blindly.
After witnessing the terrifying cosmic form, Arjuna is shaken. He recognizes the divinity before him, offers salutations, and asks Krishna to clarify who he is seeing in this fierce manifestation and what purpose this immense, world-consuming activity serves.
