Viewing Bhīṣma’s Battle Array and Arjuna’s Reassurance
The verse asserts that victory is inseparable from Kṛṣṇa because He is identified as the eternal Puruṣa (sanātana). Ethically, it implies that steadfastness and success arise from alignment with the divine and with dharma, not merely from numerical strength or strategy.
Sañjaya describes Kṛṣṇa (Govinda) moving among the enemy formations without fear or disturbance, highlighting His transcendent composure on the battlefield and concluding that wherever Kṛṣṇa is present, victory will follow.
