जातो<सि धर्मलोपेन ततस्ते बुद्धिरीदूशी

Transliteration

sañjaya uvāca | jāto 'si dharmalopena tatas te buddhir īdūṣī |

Translation

Sinabi ni Sañjaya: “Ikaw ay isinilang dahil sa isang paglabag sa dharma; kaya’t ang iyong pag-unawa ay napariwara. Sa pagkanlong mo sa mga hamak na tao, ang iyong isip—na ginaganyak ng inggit—ay natutong kamuhian maging ang mabubuting Pāṇḍava; at dahil dito, sa kapulungan ng mga Kaurava, maraming ulit kong kinailangang duminig sa iyong mapapait na salita.”
