गृह्यानुमन्त्रय गाण्डीवं शरान् संनतपर्वण: । अनुमान्य महात्मानं भरतानां महारथम्
gṛhyānumantraya gāṇḍīvaṃ śarān sannatapārvaṇaḥ | anumānya mahātmānaṃ bharatānāṃ mahāratham ||
Wika ni Sañjaya: “Kinuha niya ang busog na Gāṇḍīva at ang mga palasong maayos ang pagkakabuo ng mga dugtungan; at matapos humingi at tumanggap nang nararapat ng pagsang-ayon ng dakilang-loob na maharathi sa mga Bharata, …”
संजय उवाच
Even in war, action is framed by discipline and propriety: the warrior prepares his weapons but proceeds only after due consultation and respectful assent, reflecting restraint and adherence to kṣatriya protocol.
Sañjaya describes a warrior (implicitly connected with the Gāṇḍīva) taking up bow and arrows and, after seeking/receiving approval from a great-souled mahāratha among the Bharatas, moving forward to the next action in the battle sequence.
