संजय उवाच कुरव: पाण्डवै: सार्थ यदयुध्यन्त भारत । यथा च तदभूद् युद्ध तत् तु वक्ष्यामि साम्प्रतम्
sañjaya uvāca | kuravaḥ pāṇḍavaiḥ sārthaṃ yad ayudhyanta bhārata | yathā ca tad abhūd yuddhaṃ tat tu vakṣyāmi sāmpratam ||
Wika ni Sanjaya: O Bharata, isasalaysay ko ngayon kung paano nakipagdigma ang mga Kuru laban sa mga Pandava, at kung saang paraan naganap ang labang iyon.
