भीष्मस्य जलप्रार्थना — अर्जुनस्य पर्जन्यास्त्रप्रयोगः — दुर्योधनं प्रति सन्ध्युपदेशः

अथान्यद्‌ धनुरादाय गौतमो रथिनां वर:

athānyad dhanur ādāya gautamo rathināṃ varaḥ

Sinabi ni Sañjaya: Pagkaraan nito, si Gautama, ang pinakadakila sa mga mandirigmang nasa karwahe, ay kumuha ng isa pang busog—hudyat ng panibagong paninindigan na ipagpatuloy ang labanan sa bagong sandata at sa lakas na hindi humuhupa.
